Possible copyright violation(s)[edit]

Your contributions are appreciated. You are very welcome here. However, I have encountered possible copyright violation(s). Some or all of the content you added in a recent edit to your userpage draft appears to have been copy pasted from your website and has been deleted.

Please remember that you must write in your own words. We cannot copy and paste from other websites. If I have made an error, please accept my apologies.

For further information, please read Wikipedia:Copyright violations. If you have questions, please ask. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:01, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your account name[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. Thank you.

Please, please be welcome here. Please just register a new username or ask for a username change. Please recreate the draft, if you wish, with no copy pasting, after reading this:

If there is anything you ever need or have any questions, please ask. Thank you, and happy editing.

We registered this Username to participate in the Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon. We only copied an pasted our organizational profile for our website for our user profile, but bot as an independent article. Staff has also created their own usern accounts for editing, however we were under the impression that our institution also needed an account to host editors for the edit a thon

Per WP:ISU, any account usernames that imply shared use (like an institution) aren't allowed. An account that identifies a single person, who is leading the event perhaps should host the editors on the edit-a-thon. -NottNott 18:32, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Art and Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon at Mills[edit]

Hi! I would like to join the edit-a-thon on March 30. The only place I can find to sign up is on Facebook. I neither have nor want a Facebook account. Where on Wikipedia can I join?

Thanks. —NotARabbit (talk) 00:46, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! However, when I click on “join the program”, a box comes up saying “To join this program, you need to get the passcode — or link that includes the passcode — from the facilitator.” Maybe you could email it to me? —NotARabbit (talk) 20:52, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted in good faith. Are you absolutely sure you wish to post a passcode here for all to see? This page is viewable to anyone. If the answer is 'no', please change that passcode immediately. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:14, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Anna Frodesiak NotARabbit The passcode I provided is the enrollment passcode. It does not need to be changed. You can also be added to the dashboard by doing to our dashboard here: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Mills_College_Art_Museum/Art_and_Feminism_Wikipedia_edit-a-thon?enroll=uxwqnbea

Hi MCAMfeminist2018. Okay, so the passcode being publicly displayed is alright? Best wishes. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:52, 20 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
