Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Hi MJO, thankyou for your question. You are quite entitled to re-submit your article for another review, once you have made some improvements. It is a good start so far and you are obviously on the right track. However, as my message on the article itself points out, we need to see good evidence that Michael Lederer has been talked about (in some depth) in a number of independent, reliable, published news/book sources. By that I don't mean Q&A interviews, where Lederer is talking about himself. And brief mentions or events listings are rarely considered enough to pass Wikipedia's general notability criteria. Obviously, the Die Welt book review is a good one and, if you can show evidence that his book has received multiple reviews/press interest, Lederer may pass the WP:AUTHOR notability criteria as the author of a notable work. So you have a couple of options! If you have any further questions, please leave them here on your Talk page. Sionk (talk) 18:36, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More Questions about Lederer Article[edit]

I have added a few more sources (an article that was published in a Hungarian magazine that talks about Mr. Lederer's "Dubrovnik Shakespeare Festival" and made sure that the link to the article in the "Berliner Morgenpost" is easily accessible. That one is also a review of "The Great Game". I have tried to streamline the article to focus more on Michael Lederer's literary efforts, but he is also a playwright and the creative/artistic director of a theater festival. How can I emphasize those points and document them well enough to meet biographical notability requirements more than I already have? I have also included some sources that are not available anywhere online (the French language literary journal of his earlier book and the German theater book). Is that okay? How do I better reference those pieces?

This article (an example of many) appeared in Croatia's leading magazine about culture, describing Lederer's role at Dubrovnik Shakespeare Festival: http://www.forum.tm/clanak/u-dubrovniku-su-mnogi-nesretni-sto-shakespeare-dobiva-festival-67

One (again, of many) about the President of Croatia's work with Lederer and Dubrovnik Shakespeare Festival: http://www.dubrovacki.hr/clanak/30452/president-josipovic-mets-dubrovnik-shakespeare-festival

A Spanish magazine article about Lederer's book "Ya Nada Dura Eternamente" ("Nothing Lasts Forever Anymore") http://www.intereconomia.com/noticias-gaceta/cultura/dubrovnik-tendra-festival-anual-shakespeare-partir-2012-20110309

A Hungarian article about Lederer: http://www.turizmus.com/cikk/index/2/10002/turizmus_hirek/10484?CAKEPHP=378caf7485c76b41a38b0f8a120ed302

Lederer's play Mundo Overloadus, was staged Off Off Broadway in 2010: http://offoffbroadway.broadwayworld.com/article/MUNDO_OVERLOADUS_Opens_at_PS_122_97_20100907#

The Berlin publisher PalmArtPress has announced it will publish his novel "Cadaques" http://www.palmartpress.com/en.php/preview,0,0,0/

Again, this man is not simply an author, so I am looking for more tips about how to emphasize his literary achievements AND his work for DSF and in the theater world. Thank you! MJOBerlin (talk) 20:03, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
