Units[edit]

Please do not remove spaces between a number and the unit. There needs to be a non-breaking space there per the Manual of Style. Also, the correct formats for torque units are "lb·ft" and "N·m", not "lb-ft" and "Nm". --Sable232 (talk) 19:42, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting of Ford Thunderbird[edit]

You may want to propose this on the talk page first. Splitting up a page tends to be a big change for an article and it's usually best if it's given the opportunity to be discussed, so there isn't an argument/revert afterwards. --Sable232 (talk) 01:18, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I didn't see that, I didn't think the discussion was that far up the page.
The article is on the long side but splitting it 13 ways (for each generation) seems a bit much. Maybe split it into four parts, one for the early (1955-66) design, one for the Continental Mark III/Mark IV-based car, one for the intermediate (Torino/Fox/MN-12) and I suppose one last one for the recent retro design. That way there will be shorter articles but only a few of them covering the more related generations, rather than a bunch of pages which in some cases might be almost too short. --Sable232 (talk) 01:33, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the splitting and the addition of production numbers, I think it improved the overall article on Thunderbirds. Hopefully with all the new split articles for each generation more detailed information will be added83.109.145.207 (talk) 20:55, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
