Data release[edit]

It would be helpful if the # of page watchers was included, this information is available publicly anyhow on a page-by-page basis. JBsupreme (talk) 19:15, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The number of watchers on a per-page basis is only currently available if the page has more than 30 watchers. Watchlist data in particular has led me back to Arbitration.... --MZMcBride (talk) 19:30, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hey, can you do the opposite, too?[edit]

Someone dropped your name here in a relevant context. • Ling.Nut 02:29, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I personally won't be dealing with WikiProjects as I simply don't have the time or patience. However, I will hopefully be releasing this database in a public form shortly (within the next week or two) and I'm more than happy to generate lists based on specific criteria, if you'd like. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:42, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Johnbod's Law[edit]

Please bear this in mind: "5 refs on a line is an almost sure sign of trouble". Johnbod (talk) 20:48, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it may be an interesting metric to measure instances of "</ref><ref>" (concurrent inline reference tags). --MZMcBride (talk) 21:23, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another template[edit]

See also {{BLP sources}} which is like refimprove for BLPs. Probably should track that one too. Gigs (talk) 21:17, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you mind me adding regexes, but more libel words I have come across: con man, conman, con artist, scammer, scam artist Gigs (talk) 21:20, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I need to separate case sensitive words from case insensitive words (and figure out where the most up-to-date list is). These are good additions, though. I also have "open secret" and "everyone knows" on my to-add list. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:33, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reports ideas[edit]

  • Very few views
  • A lot of bad words matches
  • A lot of {{citation needed}} matches
  • Ratio of page length to number of inline reference tags
  • Fuzzy matching of page creator to page title
