I found some references/quotes taken directly from Jung Myung Seok's sermons. Based on these references I updated the "teachings" section. I also removed the part about his teachings on resurrection because I didn't see anything about resurrection in the cited reference. Based on the teachings in his sermon, "Only God and Jesus is(are) the Lord(s) and can be the Lord(s)." all parts that refer to him as a self-proclaimed messiah need to be removed. This obviously contradicts his own quotes.

Your own interpretation of the subject's sermons constitutes original research. On Wikipedia, we're supposed to find independent (as opposed to self-published) published, reliable sources which we then cite in the article. So, let's all work together doing that rather than trying to push any personal views on the subject, or edit warring over it :) benzband (talk) 19:06, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Jung Mung Seok article is a BLP article with an extraordinary amount of negative information. I'm not contending the negative information but only citing a small number of sources that offer a different point of view. Personally I would not call this tendentious editing. I can see why on the surface an administrator might see my most recent editing of the page as whitewashing, but if you check the articles cited you'll see that I am actually operating within the Wikipedia rules and substantially improving the page despite the user, Shii's accusations. You must be confusing me with itsfiziks because editing all the other cites based on those three sources was his proposal and I never supported it. I only edit those cites to keep them true to their original sources which you have not done in every case. Most of the sources currently cited are just as major/minor as the three sources I believe you are referring to above and as the only sources that offer a valid opposing point of view they deserve placement in the article. If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
