Re: Klaxons[edit]

You mean this? That was tagged as an unreferenced section and was almost entirely comprised of original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. As the box for the unsourced section says: "This section does not cite any references or sources. Please help improve this section by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed." Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 15:29, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How can it be classified as unreferenced when there's links to more than 10 other articles? Aren't those references enough? We're talking about factual names of songs and lyrics that were literally taken from books, folklore, etc.

No references were provided in that section aside from mere links to the articles, which is unacceptable. You physically need reliable sources for those statements to add such a section. And those sources must literally say the Klaxons were inspired by X or they took lyrics from Y. Additionally, the source must be more than say, a blog page or fan site. I think that it's irrelevant either the band publicly affirmed they took inspiration from such sources or not when you have, for example, the name of a music that is exactly alike the name of a book, of course they took inspiration from it. Anyway, there might be other users that would like to complete that section and introduce the references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.181.248.209 (talk) 12:31, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
