August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to RMS Titanic appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Using "it should be noted" is not acceptable, nor us contributing information without properly referencing it. -MBK004 04:10, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to RMS Titanic. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.   — Jeff G.  ツ 04:12, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --John (talk) 04:27, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I note that you are a new editor. Please slow down a little here. Read all the linked pages in the welcome notice as they will give you a good idea of what wikipedia is. WP:NOT will give you a good idea of what Wikipedia is not. I'd suggest discussing any proposed edits to the Titanic article at the article's talk page first. Please also see WP:EW, which explains about edit warring. You may be in danger of this should you continue to edit the article without discussing your proposed edits first.
