Hi before I give up in despair I'd like to mention the following there are 38 theatre groups in the Wikipedia category community theatre I didn't look at them all but I looked at a random selection, namely:

Avon Players Footlight Club Georgetown Little Theatre Heller Theatre Lakeshore Players Community Theater San Mateo Community Theatre Shadowland Theatre Venice Theatre Villagers Theatre Walk the Plank (theatre company) Winneshiek Players

All of them are small theatre groups who primarily or solely reference their own websites for information, which is to be expected since no community theatre groups would expect broad internet coverage. The information about the groups would naturally reside within the groups' paper archives. This does not diminish their significance within their city. Titirangi Theatre for example has existed since 1935 and has been referenced in many local history publications and newspaper items which are not online. It must have been accepted that Community Theatre warranted its own category, otherwise the category would not exist. I would be very dismayed to think that the article on Titirangi Theatre was been assessed by different criteria from the othe 38 community theatre groups. perhaps you could put this article forward somewhere for discussion? regards Macsnapper Macsnapper (talk) 08:17, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your message on The Earwig's user talk page, and thought I'd try to help you out.

I've removed some of the older junk from this page, here.

Now - regarding the article;

You need to find references - in 'reliable sources' (such as newspapers).

For example, it starts off saying that the theatre is in Lopdell House. So, I looked for a reference - and found this: http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/local-news/613928

Then, you put that link actually in the article, directly after the fact, between <ref> and </ref> - like this;

...Lopdell House in Titirangi, a suburb in the Waitakere region of Auckland City, New Zealand.<ref>http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/local-news/613928</ref>

And that now shows as a numbered footnote - please take a look, on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Titirangi Theatre.

So - you need more. You need several such 'reliable sources', to show why the theatre is 'notable'.
