Orphaned non-free media (Image:AudenSelectedByFuller.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AudenSelectedByFuller.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Just for future reference, it might be a good idea to try contacting me or another abuse volunteer directly rather than posting to a rejected abuse report as it's quite common for such archives to not be read often. It's a bit late now, why not see if the IP trys anything again and if it gets blocked a fifth time. By the way, you should make it more clear that you are talking about the 24.x.x.x IP rather than the 69.x.x.x IP when that is the case. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

No problem ..... in the future, feel free to go and file a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Just so that you are aware: it is unusual for action to be taken unless there is an attempt to warn the user first, so make sure that you take the time to leave a warning on the vandal's Talk Page. Thank you for you comments on my previous colored image of W.H. Auden. I certainly respect your views and that you withdrew it.I have now uploaded a new version in black and white which may be more suitable for the article. I have a fairly strong feeling that it's unsuitable to include a drawing of a much-photographed twentieth-century figure in an encyclopedia article, especially a drawing that seems not to have been made from life (unless I'm mistaken), but I can't pretend that a serious principle is involved.
