I notice that you've been using the rollback tool to revert good faith, reasonable changes ([2] [3] and others) Although Wikipedia:Revert does not limit it to vandalism, that is it's intent, and I believe that it is innapropriate to use it in this way. Actually, User:Aleenf has added a lot of incorrect (and redundant) information to the Race pages. (User:Falconsgladiator had also been fixing some of his/her edits.) For example, he/she incorrectly stated that a contestant had competed on two editions of the Race. He/she also added redundant details without realizing that they had already been discussed in earlier sections of articles. Aleenf was also highlighting details of a contestant's short height (due to dwarfism), which was completely unecessary and inflammatory (per WP:NPOV. Similar remarks had previously been removed; currently there's no mention saying so-and-so were the heaviest/tallest/ contestants on the Race. A {{test1}} template may seem somewhat harsh, but given the circumstances and erratic edits, it was more than justifable. --Madchester 08:47, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Okay, so they were crappy edits, but I still think they were in good faith, and that's what you should assume when a new user makes a mistake; that's why test1 refers to tests rather than vandalism. Adam and andrew

It was never cleared as to which category it fell into, but seems mainly to fit into WP:WEB. If so:

Content which has been packaged into material form, such as onto CD, DVD or book form, but which is still primarily only available for sale via the internet, still falls under these guidelines. If such packaging of the product is widely available for sale in major brick and mortar retailers, then it should be considered a product, for which see Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations).

Therefore at least the CD created by Adam and Andrew is verifiably and notably suitable for Wikipedia, if not everything on the article.

The notability of the Numa numa song, much in the same way, cannot be proved, except that the first host, Newgrounds, falls under notable websites - and even in that case, Adam and Andrews most popular internet resource, Myspace is notable.

Sorry about the Numa numa suggestion, not particularly familiar with the subject, seemed too stupid to warrant any kind of interview to me.

I have, however, found an almost identical group called The Icy Hot Stuntaz, which contains almost exactly the same kind description as I implemented on the Adam and Andrew article, only with less information on them, no album information, less links and a picture.

I cannot believe I am fighting for this article so much, but I am sure I am right in thinking that the method in which my article was weighed up, speedily deleted and considered deletion material by so many people with no adequate reason, was completely unfair.

There were too many to count, but here's one example: "despite the fact that Locklear not only grabbed Haggan's face mask but also held the jersey above Haggan's right shoulder for an extended period of time." Live 8 Philly

It is not a vanity or self bio. I am a member of the local Philly Union of teamsters and have no affiliation with either company. I do, however feel that they both deserve recognition for having helped in so great of an event. I cannot believe that you, with your dedication to "making poverty history" are so reluctant to allow the mention of two great companies that helped to make Live 8 Philly and Live 8 London possible. You should be ashamed of yourself. Not to mention the fact that if I had wanted to make the article vain, I would have. It is hardly a self bio as it does not mention Roy or Troy Clair, the founders of Clair Brothers, or Franklin Simon of FSP, as individuals. I am perplexed as to your reasoning in this. Please reconsider, as I have twice petitioned maturely and passionatley for the re-inclusion of this passage in the article. If you wish, you can write it in. I would just like to see these two companies get credit for the hard work that they did to make these great events possible.

WikiProject Albums

I recently (yesterday) noticed the WikiProject for writing album articles. I have decided that I will help with writing album articles. I would like to "advertise" this through a userbox. I'm not sure what an appropriate picture would be for it, and I feel it would be better if an administrator were to create the userbox. I have done so. The page is here: Template:user Wikiproject Albums. I have one problem, though. I wanted to make a category of all the users, and I made it here: Category:WikiProject_Albums_members. When I was making a link to the category page on the word "user" in my info are of the userbox, it blanked out the word and read "This user is a of WikiProject Albums". Re: info on upcoming episodes, it was already discussed that those details are perfectly acceptable, as long as there are verifiable sources. If you happened to review the sources provided for each leg, you'd realize that they're perfectly legitimate pieces of information. The spoiler tags are not "sufficient". By putting the destination (Russia) in the name of the empty section header, you are adding that to the table of contents which appears on the page before anyone can read the spoiler tags. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an arguement why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Well, it doesn't really matter of the address stuff I added. Must we always follow the policies closely, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, I always believe in flexibility but not too flexible though. Location is about the same as address so it doesn't make much different. I'm not providing e.g. an address for a cafe in New York City or something like that. I am just stating the exact road of the mall. I added addresses to the text and no one really bothers about it. We may not be a travel guide, but the information is useful for an encyclopaedia. Madchester, its interesting that you expect 'civility' to be a one way process. In what way were you behaving with 'civility' when you placed a totally inappropriate 'vandalism' notice on my talk page? In what way were you behaving with 'civility' when you reverted my changes to the Coldplay page in such a high handed manner rather than discussing the issue properly and seeking a workable consesnsus?

Furthermore, how am I 'forcing' an apology from you or 'threatening' you? What could I possibly do that would 'force' you to retract your 'vandalism' allegations? I do however expect an acknowledgement that your 'vandalism' notice was completely inappropriate and insulting to my integrity as a long standing Wikipedia contributor, and unbecomming behaviour for somebody who is so proud of having 'earned' their adminship.

However it seems that you can't find the good grace to admit that you have made a mistake, and we shall have to leave it there. At the end of the day the matter is, as you say, trivial in the bigger scheme of things, and whilst I understand that you are not prepared to lose face over this, I hope that you will stop and think before treating other wikipedia contributors in a such a high-handed and arrogant manner in future.
