Welcome![edit]

Hello, Madurai nayak vamsa, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Kammas famous personality requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. fcn tagging[edit]

Hello Madurai nayak, can you explain why you have placed an {{fcn}} tag here? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:38, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

And, at the same time, why have you added citations here without including the author and publisher? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:55, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Balija. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a blockage. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 03:29, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Balija has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Sitush (talk) 17:19, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions notice[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.  Bishonen | talk 22:01, 4 March 2017 (UTC).[reply]
Hi Madurai Nayak, You have added Bhavaiah Choudhari material for a second time at Kamma (caste), despite having been told that he is not an WP:RS. Now that Bishonen has informed about the ARBIPA sanctions, please stay away from Bahavaiah Choudhari stuff. Any more of this nonsense, and you are sure to get blocked. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 14:34, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

madurai nayak dynasty[edit]

Hello. Ref to your frequent edits in various articles. Of these, the most vandalized article is the madurai nayak dynasty. Please discuss references in the talk page before using them. Sepuri Bhaskar is not a reliable source for the Giruka article, hence deleting. If using, please read thru the entire page for the range of possibilities and not selectively. Let's put it this way. Whether kapu, kamma, reddy, balija, etc; we are speaking of social groups encompassing a wide range of professions and people from various origins. The wealthy among all communities are known to have had wives and concubines. That does not mean the entire social group comes from the same origin or profession. That said, please try being considerate to the plight of women. Whether a basavee from the jangam caste or sani from any other caste, the women were products of their circumstances. If it helps, please go thru this source very carefully, to see the range of communities which dedicated their girls to temples. Also note, how during the time of Jehangir, Shah Jahan, Aurangazeb; temples were destroyed and the women fell from ritual temple roles (tantricism) into an immoral abyss. All said, a mother will know who the father is, to claim kapu, kamma, balija, reddy, bhatta, jangam, bhogam, or any other caste/class for her child. Kindly remember that every human on earth is a product of ancient tribal warfare; if not archaic customs. Thank you.--Anon=us (talk) 22:43, 23 March 2017 (UTC)anon=us[reply]

What would you like the category to be named? I am happy to format it correctly for you, I just need a name. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 02:45, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
