DYK for Slim Pickins

[edit]

On 19 September 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Slim Pickins, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in her song "Slim Pickins", Sabrina Carpenter supposedly settles for someone who does not know the difference between "their", "there", and "they are"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Slim Pickins. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Slim Pickins), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Women in Green's October 2024 edit-a-thon

[edit]

Hello MaranoFan:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

Comment

Hello MØ, I know our last encounter did not go well and I still apologize. Since then, I took the issues you raised into consideration and tried to address them to the best of my ability. With help from few mentorships, I feel like I have significantly improved the quality of the article. Multiple viewpoints matter the most to me, so would you be kind enough to give me your honest feedback on the work I've done so far on this article? I'll be on the lookout for your response Thank you. dxneo (talk) 00:58, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, dxneo. I am significantly busier now than I was earlier in the year. I will not be able to help with this but I still wish you the best.--NØ 05:03, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Stay blessed. dxneo (talk) 05:07, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
