Inaccuracies at Karel Capek

Hello Marcvs. Thank you for pointing out some potential problems with the content I added to the page. I've still got Klima with me (overdue, but I'll renew so we can work through this). I'll do some re-reading, and respond to your points over the weekend. I'm very open to the possibility that I have misinterpreted some of Klima's assertions. I make no claim to being an expert on Czech literature, or Czech history. However, I must ask you to alter your tone somewhat if we are to work through this material. Calling my work "vandalism", as you did in your edit summary, is both inaccurate itself and highly insulting to a person who takes his work here quite seriously. Your use of "nonsense", and "blatant nonsense", is hyperbolic and unnecessary. Anyways, hopefully we can improve the article by discussing problems rationally. Thanks for your patience (apparently trained for many years). When I get worked up over a topic, I do tend to let some of that steam slip into my initial communication, instead of filtering it out completely. That may indeed be very uncomfortable for the other side; especially if I misjudged the other person’s attitude, motivation or reasons—which is so easy to do with little initial clues thereabout.

So thanks for your civil pointing that flaw out to me. I usually try to apologise by explaining that I only got so worked up over the subject—I didn’t really mean to hurt anyone. Marcvs (talk) 21:05, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

No worries and no harm done. Thanks for re-phrasing your comments. It's just how it works here that you don't hear much about your good work. But when you mess up, usually you do hear about it. It's kind of disheartening sometimes. But it means people are paying attention, which is why the site works, I guess.The Interior (Talk) 03:00, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
