Hi. I have had the above artist on my watchlist since I worked on it during a cleanup project a year or so back. I am interested in the contributions you have very recently made to it (and the images you have uploaded). I would comment that the article now appears to be less encyclopedic than previously, despite the addition of a good deal of content; it more resembles a blog or cv. The information, if presented in a scholarly manner, would very likely add to the article. I am therefore adding the standard welcome template to this page, which has some useful links including how Wikipedia pages should be edited. I would like you to familiarise yourself with the expected styles, and take the opportunity to amend the article accordingly. Most urgently, I suggest you cite every one of the plaudits that form a large part of the current article. I can assure you that "fancruft" (as this is what it looks like) is often poorly regarded by other editors, who may remove it and review the rest of your additions. Thanks for your response. I have requested another editor, more familiar with this type of article, to comment on the best places to get the assistance you request. In the meantime I would suggest looking at some of the other articles with the same subject matter, living artists, to get some idea of layout, etc. I would also comment that you should be aware of the policy regarding possible "conflict of interest", where editors who are close to the article subject should ensure that they contribute in as neutral a manner as possible. It just means being extra careful, and not allowing personal feelings to overcome editorial decisions. I received the following from the editor concerned (I presume it should have gone to you, but it went to my talkpage instead);LessHeard vanU asked me for advice on this: but I can't fault the advice he has already posted. If you are acting directly on behalf of the artist, you need to be especially cautious about conflict of interest issues. And I agree that the "CV" style isn't at all appropriate.

I recommend raising this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Visual arts. They do a lot of this type of collaboration on development, and would be able to guide you on what formats are customary.
