Welcome![edit]

Howdy Markdole,

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your edits on the martial arts articles. One minor note: I see that you changed the "Macronizing" on the Japanese martial arts article. As was pointed out to me previously, the Wikipedia Manual of Style recommends not macronizing words that are are well-established in foreign languages without the diacritics (aikido and judo would fall into this category as well). Please check this link and notice the exception for words that are in common usage in English-speaking countries.

If you have not already, you can click "watch" at the top of any pages that interest you to create a watch list from which you can monitor your favorite pages for incorrect changes (while keeping in mind that we don't own them).

I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might find helpful:

Thanks, and if you have any questions or problems, no matter what they are, leave me a message on my talk page (click the "T" after my name).
