WikiProject Java and Portal[edit]

Thanks Marty for putting your name on the list of participants. There are 2 other steps that we'd like you to take before being involved in the actual WikiProject Java:

  • one is placing the Java Userbox tag on your user page (or talk page) by writing: {{Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/Userbox}} in it.

  • The second one is to install the WikiProject Java Centralized Announcement by pasting the following code to the top of your user page (or talk page):
==WikiProject Java (announcements)==
{{Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/Announcements}}<!---->

Ok Marty, I thank you for your swift move and Welcome to the Java project! Now if you take a look at our to do page you'll see work is not lacking, I'll point you to 3 current tasks that we consider important right now, as we are a fairly new project:

If you are more literary and also a Native English speaker, I'd recommend a). On the other hand, b) requires to be somewhat versed in Java. I'm personally working on c) but that's a vast task that can be worked out concurrently by many editors. So what would suit you better? Don't hesitate to ask for any clarifications.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to British slang, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nintendo task force membership update[edit]

It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we periodically do to keep our membership up-to-date.

All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. On 23 December, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 17:24, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
