It should have been accepted earlier. It was already of adequate quality at the two most recent declines. I apologize that we have not yet sufficiently improved the standard of reviewing DGG ( talk ) 17:15, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated references[edit]

I notice that in Hugo Gottesmann some of the references are repeated numerous times. Please read Help:Referencing for beginners#Same reference used more than once. --David Biddulph (talk) 15:43, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Open access: link to Open access journal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. . Hello, I reverted you edit to User:Viztor. You replaced user page content with comments that belong on the user's talk page at User talk:Viztor. Also, please remember to sign your talk page comments with four tildes ~~~~. • Gene93k (talk) 17:07, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you post a comment on my talk page, and you mentioned Hugo Gottesmann. I believe that's a typo and you probably mean the open access article, unfortunately, I do not recall the situation now, however I believe it was deleted because it is not written in a way how articles should be. I welcome you to the community, and value your participation :) Viztor (talk) 03:00, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Genuinely shocked to see how much trouble you had getting this article through AfC, because I'm here to suggest that you take it through the Good Article nomination process. You'll have to work on the references a bit (some of them don't work at all, and the primary sources might raise eyebrows), and you might want to check if more of them haven't become available online since you originally wrote the article, but at a quick skim GA looks really doable. I'm happy to help if you want assistance or need a GA reviewer who can read German. -- asilvering (talk) 19:42, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
