Conflict of interest[edit]

There appears to be a conflict of interest associated with the external link that you have added to many articles. Please review the two links in the previous sentence, as well as WP:SPAM, for more information on Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you wish to see a website with which you are closely associated added to an article, a better approach is to go to the Talk page of the article in question, create a section titled "Proposed addition" and request that other editors review the site and add it if appropriate. It is not appropriate to add links to your own site to Wikipedia.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Regards, Joie de Vivre 17:05, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for getting in touch. I responded to your comment on my talk page. The link in the previous sentence will take you to the appropriate section. Joie de Vivre 18:58, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry[edit]

Hi, there, it's Joie de Vivre. I just wanted to say that I didn't think that the person being rude was you. You have been quite courteous and it sounds like such remarks would be out of character for you. Thank you for practicing good etiquette. I was so wrapped up in responding to the other editor that I neglected to respond to you. Indeed, I would like to see this PDF that you mentioned.

The trouble is how to get it to me, but I think we can get around this. To avoid spam, I do not want to publish my email address on Wikipedia. So, I think the best way to do this would be for you to go to my page: User:Joie de Vivre. When you get there, all the way over on the left hand side, in the box labeled "toolbox", you will see a link called "Email this user". I tried doing this with you but it said you had not associated an email address with your Wikipedia login. If an email address is required and you wish to retain your privacy, one option is to create a free Yahoo! account and send the mail from there.

Let me know if encounter difficulties and I will try my best to help you. Thank you for being so outgoing! Regards, Joie de Vivre 02:44, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please sign your comments with four tildes[edit]

Hi, Marykderr, just one more thing. I noticed that you have been signing your comments with just plain text. Doing that is not preferable because it creates work for other editors; they then have to add the time/date stamp manually. In the future, please sign all of your comments by typing four tildes (i.e. ~~~~) at the end of what you have said.

The way to input the tilde is to press and hold the Shift key, and then to hit the key that is to the left of the number 1 at the top of your keyboard. Press the key four times while holding Shift. When you hit "Save page", your name and the date will appear in place of the tildes. Let me know if you have any questions. Joie de Vivre 16:45, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Post-Abortion Syndrome[edit]

I would appreciate your input on the article post-abortion syndrome and the open discussion of purging peer reviewed material that goes against the POV of many pro-choice (anti-abortion-hurts-women) editors. Any other editors who are empathetic to the view that abortion may hurt women should also be invited to weigh in. Many of the edits are totally without merit, and we need more editors involved to keep it reasonable.Strider12 (talk) 17:43, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
