Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit)[edit]

If you're willing to expand it until it hits a certain threshold of notability, I'm willing to unmerge it. However, it lacks development, reception, anything identifying - gameplay section can just link to the series' gameplay section as well as mentioning the various differences, like lack of Spindash and lack of playable Tails. - A Link to the Past (talk) 18:22, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted it to make it more convenient for you to cleanup the article. At minimum, to convince me of its notability, I require:
  1. As much non-redundant gameplay content you can provide - by non-redundant, we mean don't detail the common mechanics of the game, at least in significant detail. Link to the gameplay section of the series article.
  2. Expand the plot section, without going into too much detail.
  3. Find as much reception information as you can. This may also include reception of the collections it appears on as a whole, or opinions of it as an individual game on the collection.
  4. Development information is a must.
  5. If you can find anything, notable music information is a must as well.
  6. Citations, citations, citations. Can't emphasize that enough, it needs to be very well-sourced.

Basically, your job is to exceed the threshold of notability - while it's something to reach it, it cements it more so if you also clear it by a wide margin. - A Link to the Past (talk) 21:10, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just talk to me in the sonic 2 talk page. Don't make me the only person responsible for if the page should be merged.--MathUser2929 (talk) 16:26, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
