Hello, Mathias karl estress. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Marcelo Monte (racing driver), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Marcelo Monte (racing driver) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, ubiquity (talk) 16:52, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I put the references I found, in Brazilian editions, as it is in Brazil and it really was a great rider and keep running until today at 56 years of age, I believe deserve to be on wikipedia because in addition to pilot this person benemerita and too activist in favor of animals. Your profile is real and does not prejudice the aim of Wikipedia, FYI

I don't deny he is notable, but you need to show that there are external publications which talk about it. The article is still without that kind of reference. If you will send me some links, or the names of some books, which mention him, and support at least some of what you say in the article, I will add the references for you.
I have to say I don't understand what you mean about my profile being real and non-prejudicial. ubiquity (talk) 15:52, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, don't remove the deletion template until the article has a reference. It's a rule of wikipedia that biographies of living people must have "at least one reference to a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article." ubiquity (talk) 15:55, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mathias, the things you added to the bottom of the article were categories, not references. I cleaned up the article and fixed the categories, but it still needs references! How do you know Monte's date and place of birth? How do you know when he started racing, and that he raced 3 times in LeMans? If you read these somewhere, the place you read them is your reference. Send me the name of the book or website where you found this information, and I will add the reference. Take a look at the article on Ayrton Senna -- at the bottom is a section called "REFERENCES", so you can see what I mean.

Dear Sir, I believe that is correct, I look forward to withdraw the request to deletion please, thanks
