Serious political issue[edit]

International Broadcasting in Soviet Russia?[edit]
In International Broadcasting there is channel Channel One Russia. But first launch of this channel was in October 1, 1995. Or this mean Russia = USSR and Channel One Russia = Soviet Central Television? I'm not sure that the beauty contest was broadcast on the air in Soviet Union.
