@Max19582 @Nadzik Came here after having to revert several edits by Max19582 about Tusk as PM. I know there was a discussion going on earlier (per link you provided) about his appointment, but he has not yet been sworn in as Prime Minister. Today's vote resulted in him being nominated and confirmed by the Sejm but Tusk will not be incumbent until December 13. Morawiecki resigned earlier today and was immediately designated by Duda as acting prime minister until Tusk is sworn in. Please wait with any relevant edits until December 13. @Ppt91 Furthermore, it seems to be an unclear situation. The government officials (including the official Sejm stenography transcripts) refer to Tusk as the Prime Minister already, but on the other hand, it does seem like he will officially become the PM after being sworn in by the president (per the discussion above).

As far as I'm aware, it's the first time in the Third Polish Republic where the PM is appointed by the Sejm, hence the confusion.

@Max19582 It definitely is confusing and I agree that some of the verbiage used in the media doesn't help to clarify this situation. Two things to your point: 1) Only the President has the constitutional capacity to officially appoint a new prime minister (barring extraordinary circumstances not relevant in this case), so their announcement, as reported by his own team (here and here) and then the Polish Press Agency as cited earlier, becomes the primary reference and supersedes any earlier reports 2) I would not generally refer to the transcripts of the Sejm proceedings, as they merely recount what had been said and can include erroneous information (like Kaczyński disgraceful yet entirely expected comment that Tusk is a German agent earlier today...). Caps rule[edit]

Before revertin read it carefully

In generic use, apply lower case to words such as president, king, and emperor (De Gaulle was a French president; Louis XVI was a French king; Three prime ministers attended the conference). Directly juxtaposed with the person's name, such words begin with a capital letter (President Obama, not president Obama). Standard or commonly used names of an office are treated as proper names (David Cameron was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; Hirohito was Emperor of Japan; Louis XVI was King of France). Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Biography#Positions,_offices,_and_occupational_titles provides "Richard Nixon was President of the United States" and "Theresa May became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2016" as valid examples. @IgnacyPL: The term December 13 Coalition is not a WP:NPOV name - it's a term coined by the opposition Law and Justice party, which heavily critiques the coalition's actions. The term was coined as a reference to Martial law in Poland in 1981 and all Google searches for this exact phrase carry a negative undertone.

Such information can be added to Wikipedia, but its inclusion must be WP:DUE (similarly to the past issue over at Third Cabinet of Mateusz_Morawiecki; it's better to leave information about criticism for latter parts of the article, especially for a government that has high approval ratings anyway). If you'd like to make a section about either the coalition's criticism or its other names, feel free to do so! Please remember about including relevant, reliable, and mostly unbiased sources though. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. The pages I moved were small articles, with barely any activity on them (e.g. the last edit on Równia pod Śnieżką was made 8 years ago). I believed the change would be seen as uncontroversial, and so, per Wikipedia:UE, moved the articles.
