Production codes[edit]

Just for future knowledge, production code numbers of television shows, like Scrubs reflect the order they were filmed in, not the order broadcast. As long as the episode is completed, a network has the choice to broadcast episodes in whatever order they want. Sometimes they do, sometimes (like in Scrubs) they don't. Other times, if cast or crew are working on multiple shows (and movies), they may film the shows completely out of order to make schedules work for certain people. So, production order has no direct link to broadcast order, other than the fact that on most shows, episodes are filmed a month or two before airing, so filming will generally begin with early episodes of the season and end with later ones. -- Viewdrix 15:27, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
