Jennyfer's Peer Review[edit]

Dear Megan and Lily,

Overall I really like how the article explains adjacency pairs in the introduction. Furthermore, the examples are a nice reinforcer for the concept and it really helped me understand what adjacency pairs are in linguistics. A random thing that I noticed was that in the cultural significance section on the second paragraph the quotation marks are different (ie “thank you’) but thats just a minor thing. Also in this section, the example of the three restaurants in Los Angeles is presented but there no real introduction the the study. Perhaps you can have a sentence on what the study was looking at, by whom the study was conducted, and how it relates to the first sentence in this section. Besides these minor things, I think you guys did a great job adding on to this article!

Best,

Jennyfer — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jennyferjjimenez (talkcontribs) 02:55, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
