A tag has been placed on Sandra eichler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ramaksoud2000 (Talk to me) 02:59, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for message. The article was deleted as a promotional page, not for lack of notability. Incidentally, you should not remove speedy deletion tags yourself, especially if you haven't addressed the issues. It's pointless anyway, a bot will restore the tag even if the removal is missed by a human editor. I deleted your article because

  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: both well known opera singers... showed her journalistic skills... actress, cultural manager, beautiful figure... in her blood she brings the music and the scene... knows that her heritage is a mandate and she sticks to it... a social communicator... renowned opera singers... marked her destiny as an actress... further demonstrating her qualities as a singer... a lot of strength playing roles in many novels... promoting the musical heritage inherited from her parents... high quality musical performances and art in general... Undoubtedly, Sandra Eichler is a woman whose talent, studies and her multicultural heritage is a huge contribution to the culture and the media in general... — this isn't an encyclopaedia article, it's a eulogy.
  • Although it's not the main reason for deletion, you need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Although you gave a list of references at the end, they are bare urls which are hard to read, and they are not in line, so we don't know what fact each is verifying. I haven't checked them all, but this and this at least are not independent sources as defined above.
  • Her notability can be found all over the internet in hundreds of references — that's as may be, but that doesn't help with the promotional issue.

I'll look again at the other deleted page to see if it can be salvaged Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:53, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I hadn't realised initially that the article was that old, so I looked through the history to see if there was an acceptable version. I saw that the article was created by you, and you added most of the substantive content. The issues were the same

  • Flowery promotional prose making unsupported claims. I can list them as I did above if you wish, but you should get the idea.
  • The only reference is to an apparently non-existent web page.

Hello Mcaserta. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sandra Eichler".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sandra Eichler}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 18:00, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
