Hey there! I saw you adding things to the "Ra" page. Since I don't want to get the two of us in an edit war, I would like to illustrate my opinions on the changes you made so you can see why I changed them back.

  1. I do not know if it was intentional, but you added much extra, empty space after "Ra and the sun". This is not necessary and actually disruptive.
  2. Just because it is not believed in does not make it necessary to put quotation marks for the word underworld. The article Hades does not have a section called "God of the 'underworld'".
  3. When you changed "The Mesektet, or Night Boat", to "The Mesektet, a.k.a. Night Boat", this was wrong. The reason "Mesektet" was in italics means that the following was a definition, and therefore the following word should be "or", as we are defining the Mesektet as the Night Boat.

More about Ra (Sekhmet really)[edit]

Thank you for responding and understanding. I changed what you added to the "Sekhmet" section of Ra to make it a slightly more encyclopedic tone, but thank you for the information! It is useful to improving the quality of Ra. Brambleberry of RiverClanmeow 21:37, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My "pages"[edit]

In the future, do not refer to them as my "pages", as this connotes ownership, of which there is none. My only real page is my user page. As far as mythology, I don't do a lot of Egyptian, more Celtic, such as Cŵn Annwn and Cat Sìth. The reason that I chose Ra was because WikiProject Mythology, which I am a part of, marked it as needing immediate attention. Other articles they're looking to add to are Poseidon, Mercury (mythology), and Minerva, so maybe you could add to those? Show me your edits after you finish and I'll see what I can do for cleanup.
