Many films use the London Philharmonic: John Williams uses them, Harry Gregson-Williams use them, but many of their films are still considered American. Also, a British book or a British cast member isn't much: X-Men uses two esteemed English actors (plus Scots and Aussies). However, New Zealand is a Commonwealth country, so it kinda counts: UK denoting isn't necessary, and rest assured, the articles use British spelling. It is a funny subject regarding the nationality of English films. Many "American" films were shot at Elstree/Pinewood/Shepperton; many Marvel movies are shot in Canada; the latest Narnia film is officially British because that's where post-production is taking place. You gotta understand though, New Line got the trilogy made: it was their $270 million (not adjusted for NZ inflation) that stopped Miramax cancelling the films.
I've rambled, so I'll say you've convinced me to just put it there. But it would be an interesting discussion. Maybe we just limit it to one country, or not fill the infobox for films made in more than one country. Alientraveller (talk) 12:59, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
