License tagging for File:AirGroup 35 on Flight Deck of Cheango.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:AirGroup 35 on Flight Deck of Cheango.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Frederick T. Moore[edit]

I'm puzzled - you put the article in the mainspace at Frederick T. Moore, Jr., but you're still working on the draft in your userspace. This just means that you'll have to carry out all your edits again on the mainspace version, or alternatively all the edits carried out to the mainspace version (e.g. putting in proper headings instead of your DIY approach, list bulleting and categories, for example) will need to be repeated on your userspace version. Neither seems like a particularly productive use of your time, so the sooner you change to editing the mainspace version, the better! Whatever you do please add references for all this information that you're writing. I gather from your image uploads that he's a family member, and all this may be common knowledge to you. But unless it's been published by reliable sources, none of it is verifiable and the article risks being deleted. Family knowledge doesn't count as a proper source for these purposes. I'm new to Wikipedia and learning how to navigate around. In an attempt to recover from the problem I experienced on 16 Feb 2011, I added the article to mainspace at Frederick T. Moore, Jr. and copied/pasted the edited version from my userspace to the mainspace. After you fixed the problem on 16 Feb 2011, I then continued to edit in the draft in my userspace. How do I access the mainspace version? Re: conflict of interest, I read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and will remain entirely neutral. Hi, I made some changes to the formatting of the citations, most notably starting to converting over to the usage of citation templates. I have done some quick searching but it appears that most of the cited newspapers are defunct or do not have online archives that go back far enough to include these articles. I was wondering if you have additional information on these articles like author names for the articles? –TheIguana (talk) 18:08, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whie I have all of the text included in the three 1940's newspaper articles in a Microsft Word document, the actual original newspaper articles are back in Washington DC. They are very old and fragile. I have asked the custodian to retrieve the articles and we will determine if the authors names are present. I will get back to you. Thanks.
