Information icon Hello, Mehmoodmemon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.Deb (talk) 13:15, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for Reply Deb, I am not promoting anyone here, I created the page which is required for our local audience.. You must understand this point an I am not giving any link to main website.. If this is promotional what do you think about this page "Kaymu Pakistan"

Please try to understand the guidelines. In speaking of "our" local audience, you are admitting to a conflict of interest. I do not think much of the Kaymu page, which is already tagged for using promotional wording. But please read Wikipedia:Other stuff exists and Wikipedia:OWN for further guidance. Deb (talk) 13:51, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am not admitting any conflict of interest.. If u think this is for advertising purpose, you can edit the page and activate it..

Why do you use the word "our"? Deb (talk) 14:51, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Because this page from our country and I know that page not for any promotional purpose.. If that page has any promotional material than edit / delete it and activate.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.163.114.30 (talk) 08:05, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Who are you? I asked the question to the user who owns this page. You cannot know that it is not intended to be promotional just because you are from the same country as the author. Deb (talk) 11:38, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Believe me I am not taking any money for creating that page.. I request you to edit promotional content and activate it.. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.163.114.30 (talk) 11:40, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
waiting for your reply.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.163.114.30 (talk) 11:57, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you rewrite it without the promotional language. You can do that in your sandbox. Deb (talk) 12:41, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Can you brief more what was the promotional content on that page? Next time care about it.. You can do that in your sandbox. What do you mean?
Please read the guidelines. You can maybe get help by reading Wikipedia:NPOV tutorial. And please log in under your user name before adding any further comments to this page. Deb (talk) 12:51, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
