Please read WP:CATSPECIFIC; specifically:

Apart from certain exceptions (i.e. eponymous categories and non-diffusing subcategories – see below), an article should be categorised under the most specific branch in the category tree possible, without duplication in parent categories above it. In other words, articles should rarely be placed in both a given category and any of its sub- or parent (super-) categories. For example, the article "Paris" need only be placed in "Category:Cities in France", not in both "Category:Cities in France" and "Category:Populated places in France". Because the first category (cities) is in the second category (populated places), readers are already given the information that Paris is a populated place in France by it being a city in France.

You're adding a lot of unnecessary categories to articles. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:13, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon Again, please stop unnecessary parent categories. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:23, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'm sorry, I will stop. I won't add any more unnecessary categories from now on.MehrajJamwal (talk) 15:25, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are still doing it, as with Freddie Mercury. Category:Indian men is a container category, so articles should not appear there. Instead they should appear in the relevant sub-category. ... discospinster talk 17:43, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dealing with suspected sockpuppetry[edit]

Hi MehrajJamwal, thank you for correctly voicing your concern at WP:SPI. However, until that case has been closed, please avoid reverting the reported user with edit summaries such as the one displayed in Special:Diff/1115471207, and avoid edit warring. The matter needs to be resolved first. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:27, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Three users have now been confirmed as sock and blocked. I reverted their edits and would just let you revert the rest if you'd like. MehrajJamwal (talk) 17:41, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry, I didn't see that your attempt to create a new section at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nangparbat was not saved. Please try again. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:47, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
