Help me![edit]

Please help me with... I am Mulatto. I am an authority on mixed-race issues & have been a part of the Multiracial Movement for 27 years. It is NOT a bad word and has never been. Black supremacist groups have made a concerted effort to attempt to cast disrepute & shame on the word in order to harass, target, & intimidate Mulattos into a black identity with the purpose of artificially bolstering their racial demographics & stealing Mulatto accomplishments, identity, personhood, pain, presence, etc. in order to increase their status, social presence & reach, & improve their racial perception by others. This is unacceptable & we cannot allow Wikipedia to continue to present the falsehood that Mulatto is an offensive & outdated term when I use it and many of us in the community use it as well. **If you are not Mulatto, you have NO RIGHT to tell us what we find offensive**. You also HAVE NO PROOF nor HAVE YOU OFFERED ANY PROOF of the etymology of the word, but the link to my slide provides proof of the etymology. THAT is what you need to be presenting to the world on this site. You give deference to actual mixed-part-black people whenever speaking on Mulatto issues, period. I would like to be your point of contact in that regard. Please let me know of any questions, I can provide you with my cell number, we can do a video meeting, whatever you'd like, but you *cannot* tell me, others like me, and the world at large that we should find our own colloquial terms offensive & you cannot exclude us from controlling our narrative & history. Please discuss any concerns about the Mulatto article on its talk page, Talk:Mulatto. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources say about the topic. If you have such sources that say that the term is not regarded as offensive, please offer them there. 331dot (talk) 18:11, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me, I am a source. Your 'sources' for the false claim that Mulatto is an offensive word come from dictionary.com & Merriam-Websters who've provide NO ETYMOLOGICAL PROOF FOR THAT ASSERTION & **they are not Mulatto themselves**, so they are also therefore UNQUALIFIED TO BE MAKING SUCH A CLAIM as a result. Do you understand? Would you go to someone Chinese for 'proof' that a term is offensive to blacks, or would you give deference & power to blacks to explain how they feel about racial colloquials that apply to them? Or how about to blacks for an explanation & definition for a term that is offensive to Indians, or would you give deference to Indians to **tell you**, since they have the lived experience that you do not nor could you ever have, what language & terminology they find acceptable or condemnable? Understand? NO ONE from dictionary.com, Merriam-Websters, not Wikipedia has EVER conducted a scientific poll of the millions of Mulattos in this country about what they think of themselves & the term as it applies to them therein, have you? Defer to US! Not to dictionary.com or Merriam-Websters who had NO MULATTO INPUT into formulating THEIR definition of the word, that is the lesson here! Melange6 (talk) 18:21, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you have sources that can prove that the etymology of the term was designed to be offensive, that would lend credence to your belief that it is. In fact, there is no proof of that. Even if was initially created to be offensive, words, their usage, and meaning change over time. Again, it's up to you prove. I'm telling you that it is not, I've shown proof, I have the lived experience as a Mulatto (and therefore the qualifications & authority) to offer a valid opinion here. Please also read about editors with expertise in a field. 331dot (talk) 18:12, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comment- https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mulatto Websters says the term is offenseive. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/mulatto dictionary.com says its offensive. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/mulatto cambridge dictionary says its offensive. https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/definition/english/mulatto Oxford agrees. We could keep going but these are very reliable dictionaries. I don't know whether it was designed to be offensive but certainly gives credence to the position that the terms are now offensive in English. The reason you were banned is because of your aggressive behavior. Calm down and review whats been said here.-Serialjoepsycho- (talk) 19:28, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't read a word of what I typed, did you? Those dictionaries have provided **no etymological proof** of the intended offensiveness of the word. You are also being thickheaded & not listening to the opinions of actual Mulattos **whom do not find it offensive**.
1) I can organize hundreds, if not thousands, of actual Mulattos to disprove that we find it offensive. Deal? Then what are you going to do?
2) The Muladi & Muwallad phrase origins are the roots of the word by their very meanings. What is it about that you don't understand?
3) I'm entitled to be aggressive because the non-Mulatto editors here on wikipedia are being racist towards me & my demographic by continuing to portray us, via this word, in a negative light. I will defend mine & my people's identity & integrity to the death. You calm down. Melange6 (talk) 03:34, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Listen, nevermind 'stay cool' when Wikipedia has been RACISTLY INSULTING US FOR DECADES! Wow! How is it that you don't recognize your own faults FIRST but instead try to deflect & blame-shift your wrongdoing to me?
Allow me to FIX THE DEFINITION. I'm not the only one who wants the 'outdated & offensive' tag REMOVED and any insinuation to me or my people being 'mules' or 'mule-like' REMOVED. Why is that so hard for Wikipedia to understand, implement, & correct?
Remove the lock so that I can correct the definition, or, PROVE BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that you have the power to think us, to tell how to feel about our racial terminology, who gave you this authority, AND, that the term Mulatto, one of DOZENS OF OTHER RACIAL TERMS CREATED BY THE SPANIARDS to describe their mixed-race offspring & the offspring created by mixed-race people themselves, just so happens to be the ONLY ONE out of that bunch that relates this particular mix to an animal. I'll wait.
Please, STOP BEING OPPRESSIVE here. Stop insulting us! Wow, the nerve you folks have here! This is ENTIRELY Wikipedia's fault, period! Melange6 (talk) 20:53, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And I didn't 'attack others'. I see that this allegation is the alcove to which you retreat when you're creating a pretext to block people from editing. It won't work. Melange6 (talk) 01:07, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

what is the status of my unblock request

Decline reason:

The status of this unblock request is it's denied. And with that comment you left below, I am in agreement with Firefly in having your talk page access revoked. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:07, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You haven't made an unblock request until now, and that's not really a request. A demand that you be unblocked farther up is not an actionable request. In any case, you must address your conduct before any request can be considered. Acroterion (talk) 17:26, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Boy I would love to meet you in person Acroterion, you racist coward!
I made an unblock request on 8/22/2022. Go look for it & Do your job.
I've done nothing wrong, YOU are the racists here. You address YOUR conduct. Melange6 (talk) 19:16, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And I've brought the conduct on display immediately above up at WP:ANI. Acroterion (talk) 20:02, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Melange6 - I’ve revoked talk page access as it is clear you are not using it constructively. The comment about “wish to meet in person” could be construed as a threat which is entirely unacceptable, and the rest of the message seems to be entitled aspersion casting. If you wish to be unblocked you will need to use UTRS. firefly ( t · c ) 20:06, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
