Melody: There are no instructions on how to communicate, so I'm just guessing that this will work. I just wanted to advise you that "high income country" in your parental leave text requires a hyphen, as in "high-income country." The way to determine this is to confirm whether the first adjective can be correctly used by itself, as in "high country." That doesn't work for your purposes. Can you say "income country?" That doesn't work, either. Therefore, both adjectives are required to describe country. The word "high" describes and further informs the word "income," and together they further define country. Another example is high-quality products. It doesn't work to say "high products," so, even though "quality products" is correct, adding the word "high" makes it a compound adjective that requires a hyphen. In other instances, these words would not be hyphenated. It's only when they're used in combination as an adjective. Hope this helps. BTW, you might want to add a time period at the end of the last sentence referencing the U.S. not having a law "prior to XXXX." MarthaQualitymatters1555 (talk) 05:45, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
