ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Meno25. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

More banner related tasks

Hi Meno25! I wonder if you would like to take over some of my bot's tasks. I am lokking for some to take over all my talk page related tasks.

I can provide you with scripts, instructions, etc. -- Magioladitis (talk) 00:23, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

@Magioladitis: Hi, Magio. Thank you for your message. Sorry, but I currently have some problems in my real life work that make me rather inactive, so, I don't have much time for Wikipedia currently. --Meno25 (talk) 08:04, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

I wish you all the best my friend. I really miss you. -- Magioladitis (talk) 08:16, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi & WikiProject Abu Dhabi

Out of curiosity, why did you remove WikiProject Abu Dhabi from SeaWorld Abu Dhabi? I figured it should be covered by that WikiProject since it will be in Abu Dhabi. Elisfkc (talk) 20:20, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

@Elisfkc: Hi. Because {{WikiProject Abu Dhabi}} is a redirect to {{WikiProject United Arab Emirates}} which is already present on the talk page. This means that the talk page had two instances of {{WikiProject United Arab Emirates}}. --Meno25 (talk) 07:24, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
Ah, I did not know that. That is an excellent reason to take the Abu Dhabi WikiProject off of the page. Thanks, Elisfkc (talk) 15:50, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Since you took the time to assess the article, please finish the assessment by completing the B class checklists.--Catlemur (talk) 14:01, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

@Catlemur: Hi. I am not a member of WikiProject Military history. I prefer that a member of that project, more familiar with the article subject than myself, to complete the B class checklists. --Meno25 (talk) 14:06, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

By not completing the checklists you are creating a backlog that other editors must deal with. Since the completion of checklists requires a complete reexamination of the article, your assessment is made redundant.--Catlemur (talk) 16:11, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

@Catlemur: I only rate WikiProject Military history articles if I feel they should be assessed as Stub or Start class. Otherwise, I leave the article for others to assess. I feel that the article in question should be assessed as Start class, so, I didn't bother to make a full B-class checklist review. --Meno25 (talk) 16:53, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
The WikiProject tends to fill the checklists regardless of the article's quality, even if it is start class.--Catlemur (talk) 16:58, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
@Catlemur: I didn't know that. Thank you for informing me. --Meno25 (talk) 17:02, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
No problem, cheers.--Catlemur (talk) 17:05, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
