June 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Bbb23, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Inks.LWC (talk) 01:51, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

marcovel is my brother account, is not a sock puppet, because marcovel is 8 yars old account. This one a couple of month. Why I have two accounts? If I only edit vellisich page? Mentelucida (talk) 02:44, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. --jpgordon::==( o ) 19:38, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Bbb23: While personally I find the "my little brother" defense unlikely, the two accounts haven't edited at the same time; thus even if one person was behind both accounts I don't see how that would violate the spirit of WP:SOCK, though arguably the letter. What's your opinion? Huon (talk) 03:38, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Huon: There is a great deal of evidence of disruption:

  1. The individual created the page with the Marcovel account.
  2. The Marcovel account is not eight years old. It was created in September 2014.
  3. The Mentelucida account took over the editing of the page in April.
  4. The individual did not just edit with the two accounts but with multiple IPs.
  5. Mentelucida made a legal threat.
  6. When things did not go his way at WP:AN3, Mentelucida slapped an A7 tag on the article. That actually coincides with what he is saying now. If the article is not to his liking, he'd rather not have it at all. But that's a clear violation of policy.
  7. There's no basis for unblocking either account.
