Speedy deletion of Papyrus 99[edit]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. Bauckham's commentary on Jude + 2 Peter[edit]
Hi. I'm tracing the origin of a cite in Epistle of Jude and it turns out you wrote it in 2007 [1]. You wrote: "Others have drawn exactly the opposite conclusion ie as Jude was not an apostle, he would not have made such a claim on his own behalf (ref: Bauckham,RJ (1986), Word Biblical Commentary, Vol.50, Word (UK) Ltd. p.14f)". About a year later, someone removed the "not": [2].
So here are my questions, assuming that since you wrote the edit, you have access to Bauckham's commentary:
- What does actually Bauckham say?
- Does he present it as his own view, or as someone else's?
I'd be a little surprised if Bauckham thought the author was the apostle, and not the brother of Jesus (assuming they're different people). Adpete (talk) 04:12, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
