The NYT article is in-depth coverage that would be needed for WP:GNG. The LA Times article helps as well. The rest do not. GNG is not met for this person. If he wins on Nov 6, then he'll automatically meet WP:NPOL, and I'll move it into the mainspace myself. That'll be quicker than waiting for an independent review, anyway.
