Hi, please don't add linkspam to Wikipedia. Richard W.M. Jones 19:21, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted that link too. Please do not add commercial links of very marginal value to Wikipedia. Richard W.M. Jones 15:20, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Could I ask why this link was first of all considered commercial when all the information on it was available as free downloads whereas some other links require payment? Secondly why is it considered very marginal when it is the only directory with 100% current data with no outdated material?
I accept that you will not have the link accepted but would appreciate a rational answer.

Please read Wikipedia:External links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided. I'm assuming that you are the very same "M Collinson" listed in the whois record for this domain, so first of all the policy: 3. A page that you own or maintain, even if the guidelines above imply that it should be linked. would apply. There are other reasons too if you look at that list. If the site removes all AdSense advertising, and was fixed to render correctly in Firefox, then it might be worth another look. Richard W.M. Jones 21:46, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Thank you for a very fair and reasonable reply, I am sorry that I didn't read the guidelines, I really did think that I was submitting something of value to people. I won't be submitting it again. Regards Michael Collinson
