Question on edits[edit]

Hello Mike8bit. I'm a fairly new user of Wikipedia, but when I came across your edit on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (video game), it seemed to me that the information on the review did nothing to support the article, but rather seemed closer to a promotion. This link, #3 helps to explain my point. Right now, that addition is closer to advertising then information in my opinion. What do you think? --Wslack 00:24, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am a very new user too. I just thought I'd create an article on wikipedia to let people know about the character. I first heard about him on youtube where his reviews have become very popular. For each review he has done I made a link in the trivia section for each corresponding game. I think it would be a shame to take down the article since this person has become a popular part of the gaming community. I see how one could think of it as a promotion. But really, I was just providing info. But either way I don't really care. It's not my character. delete it or leave it up. it's your choice. thanks.

I think you were justified in posting it, but I understand other's perspectives, especially because of your history. Thanks for contributing, and don't take it personally. My first edits were all reverted, and I'm better off now as an editor because of it. Good Luck! --Wslack 14:30, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
