AfD Nomination: M3 festival[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that M3 festival meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/M3 festival. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. just a little insignificant 17:00, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with M3 festival. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Quantumobserver (talk) 01:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page User talk:DanielRigal. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Quantumobserver (talk) 01:07, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to M3 festival. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing. Jojhutton (talk) 01:07, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote The Article[edit]

Hello, all! I wrote the aricle and it was not intedned to sound like a commercial or anything of the sort. I wrote it just to promo an event I had a particular intrest in and saw that no one else has wrote anything on tit, so I took it upon myself and did it. I will be happy if it goes May 31th. AS LONG AS IT STAYS AROUND FOR THE EVENT! It does not have to be on Wikipedia forever, as I did not expect that.

Thanks

MikeyCMS

But therein lies the problem: you created the article to promote an event. Wikipedia is not intended to serve promotional purposes. It is an encyclopedia and is intended to contain articles on notable topics that have a longer shelf life than one concert. You will have to advertise the concert elsewhere. It sounds fun. Good luck. just a little insignificant 01:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although I reverted your removal of the deletion tag, I am not against your article. I would be more comfortable supporting your position if there were more independant citations (or any at all). I suggest that you try and make your case on thedeletion page for your article. I have tried searching for citations on the internet, but have so far come up short. Perhaps there are local news sources that you may be aware of that may not be online (such as a local newspaper that does not have an online version). If you can find some, then please add them to the article. If you have difficulty, or don't know how to format the citations, please feel free to ask me on my talk page. I will be glad to help.--Jojhutton (talk) 01:39, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from M3 Rock Festival. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:40, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:43, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
