Your username again[edit]

Hello (again)!

Wikimedia has recently implemented a unified login system. This means that I have the username "Micke" in every other wikimedia project, except for this wiki. I have made over 12000 edits using this username , in various wikis (24 wikis if I'm not misstaking) belonging to wikimedia and I am a sysop in two of these. I would very much like to have this username here as well and I would ask that you agree to have your account renamed in order to facilitate this. If you do not agree, it is probable that your account will be renamed anyway, since the system will only allow one user per name. How ever this may take some time yet, and I would rather this happened sooner than later. Since you don't seem to use this account much, I thought that you might agree to be renamed? If you do you can tell me here or here, which new non-taken username you would prefer, and I will arrange everything. MiCkE 21:52, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Effects of single login[edit]

The implementation of global accounts now necessitates that this account be renamed so that it can be used by the user who owns the global rights to this name (in this case, Micke-sv). I am willing to rename you to an alternative available name of your choice but this account is going to need to be renamed one way or another. I apologise for the inconvenience this causes you.
