Help with Consumer Brands request[edit]

Hi editors, and thanks Sm8900 for the helpful welcome post above! I'm attempting to use this "help me" feature in hopes of getting assistance from other editors with an unresolved request at the Sherwin-Williams article's Talk page. I've been collaborating with editors there to avoid making any direct edits to the live article myself, because of my paid conflict of interest. Specifically, regarding the discussion about Consumer brands:

  • Reviewing editors have already assisted with the initial request to update relevant Consumer brands content within the body of the article, but the best handling of the subsidiaries parameter in the infobox remains unresolved
  • I have provided materials requested by interested editors to help clarify the company's separate lists of subsidiaries (see SEC filing), and of brands owned by Sherwin-Williams (listed here).
  • One editor pointed out: based on Template:Infobox company, "If there are more than five subsidiaries and the article body lists them or discusses them, consider linking to that part of the article rather than listing them in the infobox."
  • I propose that the infobox subsidiaries list be updated to include only Valspar and perhaps a link to "see SEC filing", if appropriate. Also, it seems like a good measure to add the brands parameter to the infobox with a link to the Consumer brands section within the article for more information.

Are there are any editors willing to review this request and update the current article, on my behalf, as you see fit? I've included the edit request template within my post, but I see the queue is rather high. My hope is that I have made this request straightforward and easy for a volunteer to implement. Please let me know if there is more I should do to help with this update to the encyclopedic entry. Thanks in advance for any advice or feedback! Hello again. Sorry, User:Rich Smith, if I used this template incorrectly. I was trying to get some editor assistance, but did not intend to circumvent the edit request process. I was following the guidance provided in the block template above, posted by user:Sm8900 in December, where it says "Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type Template:Help me here on your talk page and someone will try to help." I will keep the Teahouse in mind as another place to seek collaboration with interested volunteers. Cheers, MiraSherwin-Williams (talk) 13:01, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
