Indefinite full protection is rather unprecedented in the mainspace, and the protection policy spells out that indefinite full is only used in limited circumstances (WP:PPINDEF). Could you add an appropriate expiry time to this protection? ~ Rob13Talk 07:28, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

False posts on Barry Loudermilk page
You need to stop posting blatantly false content on Barry Loudermilk's page.
You wrote that "At almost the same moment as Equifax revealed the breach, Loudermilk, who had been given thousands of dollars by Equifax as part of an extensive lobbying effort, introduced a bill that would reduce consumer protections in relation to the nation’s credit bureaus, including capping potential damages in a class action suit to $500,000 regardless of class size or amount of loss." Actually, the bill was introduced on May 4, 2017, more than four months before the Equifax breach was revealed. [1]
The statement that "The bill would also eliminate all punitive damages" is false. The bill would eliminate punitive damages only under the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970. Every single other consumer financial protection law besides the FCRA already prohibits punitive damages.
The bill does not reduce a single consumer protection. It only caps statutory damages which are generally awarded to trial lawyers and are completely separate from the actual damages that a consumer may recover. [2]
The statement that the bill would cap damages in "a class action suit" is incomplete and misleading because it fails to state the fact that the bill would only apply to damages for lawsuits under the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970. You also fail to state the fact that these limits on statutory damages are already present in every single other consumer financial protection law besides the FCRA.
You also falsely portray the bill as a giveaway to the credit bureaus by failing to note the fact that frivolous FCRA class action lawsuits have been skyrocketing in recent years against numerous industries other than the credit bureaus, including auto dealers, grocery stores, universities, transportation, fast food, software, background screeners, retail, banks, credit unions, and human resources. [3][4][5][6]
You also refer to Rep. Loudermilk as [Rep. Buddy] "Carter" under the "cannabis" section.

The painting is out of copyright, the copyright of the photograph belongs to Towneley Hall gallery. See https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/the-gamblers-wife-151064#image-use and https://artuk.org/about/image-use , and note that "All images on Art UK are protected by a secure invisible digital watermark that allows Art UK and other copyright holders to identify and track any unauthorised use of the image." - No, you can't claim copyright on a photograph of a public domain painting. There is actually a lawsuit that involved the National Portrait Gallery in the UK, in which they lost, trying to claim photography copyright on public domain artworks. I really appreciate your work on this and other recent articles, both on Wikipedia and Wikidata. It's always satisfying to see other editors making improvements and I'm always glad to receive your "thanks". I do nevertheless have a couple of queries. I see you reintroduced the stub template on the article. With text running to 3289 B and "running text" to 1914 B, I would have thought the article could be considered start class. Other seasoned editors have recently removed stub templates from some of my articles which were in fact rather shorter than this one. Perhaps you could tell me which criteria you use to define a stub. If you look at WP:Stub, you will see that it starts by saying: "A stub is an article deemed too short to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject." I would argue that the article on Drejer covers her in sufficient detail to be "encyclopedic", drawing on all the essentials from the sources I used (and there is hardly anything more which can be readily accessed). But I would be interested in hearing your views on this. I do aim for start class as far as possible in all my new articles.
Secondly, I usually try to introduce basic Wikidata details on all my new biographies using the "gadget". I see however that you replaced the information I added (even if it was identical). Is it worthwhile for me to use the gadget in future or will it simply be replaced within hours by you and your Wikidata colleagues? Perhaps my Wikidata time would be more usefully spent on adding profession details to the huge backlog of Wikidata biographies which have nothing in this slot. (All the women's biographies entered on Wikidata by the bot usually just have human and female.)

- Thanks for getting back to me on this. You can see the gadget here. If you download it, it allows you to add the basic Wikidata info while you are still working on the Wikipedia article. You can add all the data in one go, without the need to add one item at a time as when you work directly on Wikidata. I find it very useful. I know some other seasoned editors from Women in Red also make use of it.
- I can certainly understand that when working at full speed as you usually do, it may indeed be a good idea to add stub to what you consider to be a short article. I was a bit surprised in this case as your "thanks" was on my edit for removing the stub template which you then reintroduced. I'm pretty conscious of what is considered to be a stub as I have helped out with a number of contests on de-stubbing and article creation. But there are no hard and fast rules so your guess is as good as mine.--Ipigott (talk) 11:48, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

You marked this page as a COI:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Protey_Temen Yes, I do have a conflict of interest with the subject but it wasn't me who wrote the article, it was journalist Armas Shpilev Vikström and it was translated by the agency, I just published it. Armas doesn't have any additional info and this article is pretty impartial and just facts, so it's not much to change. It is an impartial source article and it would be a waste to just throw it away. What do I do? Should I request deletion of the article and ask Armas to post it himself?

Giuliano Ghelli
Hi I'm preparing an article on the Italian painter Giuliano Ghelli. I started with a longish draft and have been cutting it down. Although I have my sources lined up, before filling them in I wanted some feedback on the content and tone. Ghelli was fairly well-known in Europe but had only a handful of small shows in the US in his lifetime. Also worth mentioning that virtually all the sources are written in Italian (one book has parallel English text).

James Michalopoulos keeps reverting
Hi there I've been working on the page about the painter James Michalopoulos and I keep having bots revert it, and now it seems you have a problem with 'inappropriate links' - as I am new to wiki i have a lot to learn -- please enlighten me as to which links are running afoul and why - NEW: I reviewed the guidelines and it seems perhaps I should not have put the homepage to one of the subject's businesses as it is a retail site - would removing that remedy things?
additionally I got rid of the maintenance tag because I resolved the COI problem (I am writer/hostorian and have no personal connection with the subject) - and I said so in the talk page and in the summary and yet it returns - I am working hard to improve the page and am looking to raise it to at least a level B biography - but with this static reverting the page back to the boring mess that it was is a little vexing -- please lend me some guidance -- thanks Mikkopresents (talk) 17:38, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, the artist is well known in New Orleans and is one of the city's icons. I was fortunate to meet him last year during an exhibition at his studio, and was quite impressed with his work and dedication to his adopted city. I'd suggested that the page would benefit from an image of one or two of his paintings, so readers could see their interesting texture and treatment of subject matter (and hopefully Mikkopresents can obtain permission to add one or two images of the paintings to the article). In fact, other artists have tried to copy his style, and sell their paintings in other shops. If editor Mikkopresents is truthful, and there is no reason to think they're not, as a historian of the city it would make sense to improve this page. Hopefully this can be resolved, and Mikkopresents will become further involved in articles about New Orleans and its rich history. Randy Kryn (talk) 19:02, 27 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you (talk) and again (talk) I am presently talking to someone at his company to get permission to put his pictures up - I am going to prepare a full-on profile on James including his art, his philanthropy, and that he basically brought rum back to the united states - when I prepare profiles, I tend to build them up as i go, if people are going to come along and remove the foundation saying the stuff is incidental before I can build it, how is that helpful? for example his father was one of the most important architects in pittsburgh history, I mean if whitney houston's page can mention darlene love is her godmother, i can't talk about that? these are all salient points to his significance - as I understand it, I can start to edit and eventually the tag will get removed? i want to get going on this, so thank you all again for your guidance, i hope to get it right soon

I'm having some trouble with an article I've created (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Battushig_Batbold) - it was first declined due to unreliable sources, which I looked into and addressed. The second submission was then declined for the same reason, yet with no further detail on which sources were deemed as being unreliable. To my mind, the sources used are appropriate.
Any advice you can offer before I submit it again would be much appreciated!
