Image:Sinrapper.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Sinrapper.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. BanyanTree 20:25, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. - Big Brother 1984 05:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices and comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Sin (rapper). If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Big Brother 1984 17:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Every day I find articles created by local bands or aspiring actresses, and every day I see those pages speedily deleted because they fail to satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria. The decision of the admins was that Sin didn't quality under the guidelines in Wikipedia:Notability (music) -- Having a few mentions on websites and a #19 hit in Serbia wasn't enough. Wikipedians are weary of pages about non-notable people because they are most often nothing but spam. - Big Brother 1984 09:58, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

once a page gets deleted it has to be re-created? or is all the data wiped out

The data still exists but will not be able to be accessed by anybody who is not an administrator. If you have issue with my closing of the afd regardint Sin (Rapper), please take it ti Deletion Review. Thanks -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 17:28, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
