Speedy deletion nomination of Telergy[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Telergy, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. How do I gain permission to re-write the article that got deleted? It was my first article, and I do have lots of verifiable references to back up my information. I also realize now, that my article was not written like an encyclopedia and I did not have the format right. I would really like a second chance please. I did contact Deb, the person who deleted the Telergy article and asked for permission.

Contacting the deleting administrator was absolutely the right thing to do, but you did that only an hour ago, and you need to give Deb time to reply - s/he is a volunteer, like everyone here, and may not be online. You could ask for the article to be "userfied" - undeleted into a page in your "user space" where you could work on it. Alternatively, you could start again using the WP:Articles for creation process, so as to get the article reviewed by an experienced user before it is posted. But wait to see what Deb says.

Read WP:Your first article for advice, and note particularly the need to cite references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" to establish Wikipedia:Notability.
