Context Memo

After writing my lit review for project 2 on walkability in Los Angeles, I decided to help expand the existing walkability page here on Wikipedia. The existing page is currently rated as start-class and high-importance. The article is fairly short, with five main sections, some further reading, and external links.

Peer Review

Hi Mkh1206. Walkability is a really interesting topic and one that can be very useful to readers. The amount of links that go to other pages is incredible. This is helpful because there are also a lot of terms, which need defining for the general population. The definition section is one section that has a lot of those links and reads much like a list. Is there any way you could break up all the examples and maybe tell more about each? The History section is brief and concise. It tells it, as it is which is perfect for the readers just looking for quick information. It seems as though some of the Health and Socioeconomic benefits overlap. Maybe try to get ride of some of the repetitiveness by only stating the information once in the section it relates to the most. Remember to added citations where needed in the Increasing walkability section. The flow and wikipedianess of this article is very good! The ordering of the sections reads well. The tone of this article is also strictly informational, showing references and facts without bias. Nice job and keep up the good work revising this! Ktoconnell (talk) 18:36, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
