Animality Studies[edit]

Hi. I moved the article to mainspace for you. However, do note that there is already an article called Animal Studies that may cover the same subject. --RegentsPark (sticks and stones) 03:17, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seeking consensus[edit]

I am seeking consensus on the issues of Animal studies, Animality Studies and Critical animal studies. These three articles appear to cover branches of the same topic, and should be merged. As an author who has been involved in the creation of these articles, I request your opinion in this matter. Please answer at my talk page so that the discussion can be centralized in one place. Notice

The article Animality studies has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An article on a supposed 'emerging interdisciplinary academic field' apparently created by the field's sole proponent. No evidence of notability. Or as far as I can tell, even existence outside a single scolar's writings.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
