Hello I am very sorry for your inconvenience but I am very new here but I wanna say that I am actually one of the survivors of this earthquake and I believe that earthquake with high magnitudes can be much stronger by telling the casualties, structural damage and fatalities of this power so it is nearly impossible that it can only be a 7 in intensity... I myself has (like I said) experienced this and I will never be mistaken to think that it was a 9 in intensity also in one of your lists of earthquake I see that it WAS an intensity 9 so why would it be different to the same discussion. But I'm just gonna let you be.... Hope you can understand Mocti.man (talk) 07:00, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the link and as you can see it is intensity IX so why is it intensity in the official article of the quake? Mocti.man (talk) 07:06, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mocti. See my comment at Talk:2013 Bohol earthquake. -- P 1 9 9   18:41, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Editing[edit]

Hello, there's a few things to talk about here, and I'm afraid the language barrier is probably going to get in the way. If that is the case, I would suggest editing the Wikipedia in your native language.

With that out of the way, I would like to ask if you noticed that your last change left the article broken? OK, if not. We all make mistakes. Secondly, what is the reason for changing the intensity? It is necessary to explain why you are changing an article. Every time. And finally, your experience does not matter when writing an encyclopedia. Neutrality is key. Thanks and good luck! Well the reason I was trying to change the intensity is because it kind of is a pain to see that an earthquake that happened to me is being misunderstood just take a moment and compare this single earthquake with earthquake that happened with bigger magnitude...2017 8.2 Mexico earthquake, 7.3 Oxaca earthquake, 7.1 2019 earthquake and many more. Ok I'm just gonna stop here have a good day Mocti.man (talk) 01:05, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mocti. Looks like you are editing based on personal experience. But as an encyclopedia, we don't publish original research, see WP:OR. That is not just a guideline, but policy. Furthermore, if you have credible data that there are errors in certain articles, please provide or update the references to support your change, see WP:RS. Please get familiar with the editing rules and guidelines as linked in the section above. Welcome again to WP. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need help editing here.
