A tag has been placed on Edward Buckler requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.nasonline.org/member-directory/members/20026799.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. @DGG: Hello. I'm a bit confused by this notice. Looking at the copyvio template it shows up as only a 2.9% match, not an exact copy as stated in the notice and that match is from phrases like "the national academy of sciences" or "at north carolina state university" which are necessarily going to occur in two different bios written about the same person. Was not my intent to copy anything or violate any wikipedia rules or expectations and I did not copy any material the the NAS bio, nor did I set out to paraphrase that one source (I think the structure of what I've written is quite different. That said, if this level of match creates a problem for wikipedia and I can delete my contesting of the speedy deletion nomination. MoneciousTriffid (talk) 00:56, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

{MoneciousTriffid, I took a look. I think this is one of the cases whee the program doesn't really capture the degree of close paraphrase.
