Howdy partner[edit]

Looks like we'll be working together in this section of mol bio. I've also played around a bit with editing wikipedia in the past, so hopefully we can both get back into it. I'm looking forward to this project. WeberOwl (talk) 16:35, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy! I think I'll need some reminders for some of the wiki conventions, so I'll be relying on your expertise at the beginning. Can't wait to get started. :) MonopterusAlbus (talk) 00:04, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Monopterus, just a reminder that when leaving a reply to a message on a talk page, you should indent it one more than the message you are replying to, by adding a colon at the beginning of each line. That makes the discussion thread much easier to follow. Klortho (talk) 20:06, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the pointer, Klortho. Is this correct? MonopterusAlbus (talk) 00:34, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect, thanks! Klortho (talk) 10:38, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking that frameshift mutations would be interesting to take onWeberOwl (talk) 01:40, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, WeberOwl. It looks like this last comment by you probably should go in its own section, since it's not related to the conversation above. Klortho (talk) 01:34, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi![edit]

Hey Christine! It's nice to meet you, and welcome to Wikipedia! This isn't my real name unfortunately (it's a lot more pedestrian) but makes a lovely pseudonym. I'm really happy to be working with you guys. Good luck! Keilana|Parlez ici 02:24, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Checking In[edit]

Hi, haven't heard from you in a while. Just making sure that you're aware we have some edits to the article that are coming due. Get in touch and we can start working on our article. WeberOwl (talk) 21:58, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi partner! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I just spoke to our prof as well. I'll be catching up on wiki work this weekend, but I wanted to know if it's ok to contact you via email about our wiki page. Or, would you prefer via talk pages? MonopterusAlbus (talk) 02:12, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It would be best to communicate through the talk page(s), so I can also see your communication.Sherry Ogg (talk) 18:58, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help us improve the Wikipedia Education Program[edit]

Hi MonopterusAlbus! As a student editor on Wikipedia, you have a lot of valuable experience about what it's like to edit as a part of a classroom assignment. In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions by clicking below. (Note that the responses are posted to a public wiki page.) Thanks!
