Sir Tristan Of York ( The Red Duke)[edit]

Born in 1165 and knighted when he was just twenty he was the youngest Knight ever but he also had little in the way of waiting for things to come around. He was knighted for valour of unseen masseur of the field of battle during a barbarian raid. One year before the crusades he earned his name of The Red Duke. His Beloved Wife Lady Anya of France and Children William Henry were all killed in the raid when he found this out he alone went a slew thousands of victims until hi armour was tinted red by this time he had round about five thousand followers. The King could do nothing if he was to then it would have lead to a civil war one that Tristan would have one and he would have become king. On the crusade he mercilessly slew countless victims still full of rage for what had happened in the year 1212 he was killed when he lead an assault upon Lithuania which was not authorised by the king the assault nearly took the whole country. His body was buried in York some say where the minster is now none are sure where but all the records say that he was a real person and he did turn in to a killing machine because of what love did to him. The king John tried to have his name whipped form history but failed.

My source come form my re-enactment group Jono who is a Historian and is currently working on finding out more about this legendary knight. Everything that is found so far indicates that he is a real person a Gauntlet recently found in good condition has a tinted red colour with the symbol of a ion on its hind legs right paw forward this is the Helrdrey of Sir Tristan Of York there is also a book being written about this life by Dr Wore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Montagu 1234 (talkcontribs) 11:54, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Hmm… You can’t just dump stuff in an article like this. You will need a credible source for this information before adding it, and I suggest you discuss it on the talk page first. Even if it’s true it is probably out of place in a general article because of undue weight; it should go on its own page if anywhere.
It’s also not a good idea to delete stuff from your talk page, as it confuses the dialogue.
You should also end what you say with 4 tildes (~) so the system will record time and date and identity for you. Swanny18 (talk) 13:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, where to begin..
If you have credible evidence that this character exists then by all means produce it; otherwise what I said before stands.
If you seriously want to contribute to the project, then read the guidelines on the welcome page:
And if you need help with spelling and grammar, then ask; but this is an encyclopaedia, so contributions needs to be readable and understandable.
If you need to contact me then just leave a message here or on my talk page; but I’ll probably reply here.
And you should put new comments at the bottom of a talk page, and sign with 4 tildes (~). Swanny18 (talk) 17:21, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

another message[edit]

(Moved from user page; your comment is more likely to be seen on a talk page.)

in that case would you mind elxpaning why 1000ds of your site have false infomation on? .(This unsigned post was left on 9 February 2009 by Montagu 1234)

If you know of an article that has false information, then raise the issue on the talk page there, with your evidence.
And you still need to sign with 4 tildes. Swanny18 (talk) 14:08, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
